Engineering & Works
Any queries or concerns regarding the Shire works can be directed to Council’s Principal Work supervisor on 08 9971 1254.
The Shire outside staff consists of a Building team, Gardeners team, and Road construction team. Council’s officers can assist you with:
- Road maintenance (potholes etc)
- Footpath maintenance
- Park / Reserves maintenance
- Street tree maintenance
- Road verge maintenance
- Requests for private works
- Trees across roads
- Drainage
- Storm damage
The Shire of Morawa is responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of most roads within the Shire except those under the control of Main Roads WA. If you require any works to be completed that are under the control of Council, such as road grading or removal of debris, please inform Council as soon as possible.
