Morawa Community Scene 

The Morawa Community Scene newspaper is now co-ordinated by the Shire of Morawa, commencing from April 2009.

For local parties wishing to publish information and other material of interest, each article must be typed and hand delivered or emailed through to the Shire by no later than the last working day of each calendar month. Hard submissions may be dropped off at the Shire Administration Office in Winfield Street, Morawa (in a specific tray as provided) or emailed to sao@morawa.wa.gov.au

The Morawa Scene is produced both electronically and in hard format the Friday week following closure of submissions.

Fees for the Morawa Scene are as follows:
Hard copy edition of the Morawa Scene - $1 per edition
One full page advertisement - $20 per advertisement
One half page advertisement - $10 per advertisement
One quarter page advertisement - $5 per advertisement

All advertising costs are required to be paid upfront before closure of submissions on each edition of the Morawa Scene.

Community and sporting groups are permitted free advertising space into the Morawa Scene for promotional activities and publishing results, etc.  

Production of hard copies of the Morawa Scene is limited to reasonable demand and no additional print runs are undertaken for an edition. The Shire of Morawa maintains the sole right to not publish material that is considered irrelevant, superfluous, offensive or not in the best interests of the community.
