SWIMMING POOL MANAGER

The Shire of Morawa is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to manage the community swimming pool. The Pool season runs from mid-October to late April each year providing an essential service to community members during the hot summer months.

The Pool Manager is responsible for all aspects of facility, surrounds, and pool maintenance, as well as customer service and safety at the venue. The ideal candidate for the role will be someone with strong knowledge and experience of swimming pool environments, who possess an outgoing and positive attitude to create an enjoyable and fun environment for visitors.

The working hours will be spread over the pool season (generally 42-50 hours a week) over 6 days every week, with the off season being managed with reduced hours for maintenance and extended leave. As well as the off season break the role also offers a generous remuneration package up to $115,000 per annum, for an initial 3 year term, inclusive of superannuation, housing, subsidised utilities, allowances, and a negotiable cash component $70,000 to $90,000 per annum.
