Draft Strategic Community Plan 2018

Published on Wednesday, 21 March 2018 at 12:00:00 AM

 WHAT

During 2017 the Shire of Morawa began work on updating their Strategic Community Plan (SCP). The SCP is the overarching document that sets out the vision, aspirations and objectives of the community in the Shire of Morawa for a ten (10) year period.

 WHY

The Strategic Community Plan is activated, and operationalised, through the development of the four (4) year Corporate Business Plan (CBP).  The CBP is then dissected into four (4) distinct stages. These stages are then fed into the development of the Shire’s Annual Plan and Annual budget.

WHEN

The Shire of Morawa would like to thank the community for actively participating in the community workshops that were held in late 2017. As a result of your input we have devised a new draft SCP. This document has been presented to the Shire of Morawa’s Elected Members and is now ready to be presented back to the community.

The final phase of our Community Engagement process seeks to engage community Feedback on the Draft SCP document.
