TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BURTON ROAD

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Morawa proposes to close Burton Road to public access for the period from Monday, 06 September 2021 to Monday, 31 January 2022.

This temporary road closure has been requested by Co-operative Bulk Handling Ltd (CBH) to facilitate improved access to the Morawa Bin during the 2021/2022 Harvest Period and allow for a temporary sample station to be located adjacent to the road.

Burton Road will be closed from the turn off on the Wubin-Mullewa Road to the intersection of Lodge and Powell Street. Access to the road will be permitted only for vehicles directly involved in accessing the CBH Morawa Bin and site as well as emergency and utility vehicles, if required during this period.

Objections to this proposed road closure are to be submitted to the Shire of Morawa CEO via email to ea@morawa.wa.gov.au prior to Friday, 20 August 2021.
