The Morawa Swimming Pool will open this Saturday, 25 October 2025 from 12pm. Pool passes can be purchased from the Shire Administration Office or from the pool kiosk.

Due to a power outage schedueld on Friday 24 October 2025 for Western Power to complete essential maintenance the Shire's facilities will be closed. The Shire administration office will remain open from 8.30am-4.30pm for limited services.

You can now drop off all unused car bodies and scarp metal to the Morawa Refuse and Transfer Station from Friday 17 October 2025 till Monday 10 November 2025

Please be advised that the South Bound lane of the Wubin- Mullewa Road will be partially closed opposite the Winfield Street Town Centre on Wednesday, 27 August 2025 to repair a leaking pipe. Traffic management will be in place from 8.00am- 4.00pm and we ask all road users to please follow directions from traffic management staff and be patient if using the road.

Pursuant to Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1977, notice is given that the Shire of Morawa proposes to permanently close Ross Road, Gutha. The purpose of the closure is to change Ross Road to a no-though road and remove the Ross Road and Eva Side Road intersection. Details of the closure are available for inspection at the Shire Administration Office at 26 Winfield Street, Morawa which is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

We would like to kindly remind all users of the Morawa Community Gym to use the parking space outside the perimeter gate and not to park directly in front of the Community Gym. Please note that the other business units are privately rented by local businesses, and there have been reports of damage. Therefore, we request that gym users refrain from driving into the gated area and instead park outside the perimeter fence. Thank you for your understanding
