Following the completion of essential upgrades to the Morawa Recreation Centre, the Centre is now available for hire.

The current Harvest and Vehicle Movement Ban will be lifted from 3.00pm Tuesday 28 October 2025.

The Morawa Swimming Pool will open this Saturday, 25 October 2025 from 12pm. Pool passes can be purchased from the Shire Administration Office or from the pool kiosk.

Due to a power outage schedueld on Friday 24 October 2025 for Western Power to complete essential maintenance the Shire's facilities will be closed. The Shire administration office will remain open from 8.30am-4.30pm for limited services.

You can now drop off all unused car bodies and scarp metal to the Morawa Refuse and Transfer Station from Friday 17 October 2025 till Monday 10 November 2025

Please be advised that the South Bound lane of the Wubin- Mullewa Road will be partially closed opposite the Winfield Street Town Centre on Wednesday, 27 August 2025 to repair a leaking pipe. Traffic management will be in place from 8.00am- 4.00pm and we ask all road users to please follow directions from traffic management staff and be patient if using the road.
