Morawa Visitors Information Centre
Open throughout the wildflower season from July to September, the Morawa Visitor Information Centre is the perfect first stop for anyone exploring our region.
Staffed entirely by our dedicated local volunteers, the Centre offers a wealth of local knowledge to help you make the most of your visit. Whether you're looking for the best wildflower locations, local attractions, scenic drives, or information about facilities and services our friendly volunteers are always happy to help.
The Visitor Information Centre also stocks a great selection of souvenirs, locally made gifts, maps, and handcrafted items, making it the ideal place to find a unique keepsake or gift.
Located in the historic Old Roads Board Building, next to the Morawa Town Hall on the corner of Dreghorn and Prater Streets, the Centre offers convenient parking, including ample space for caravans and RVs at the rear of the building.
Established in 1986 through the enthusiastic support of local farmers, businesses, and community members, the Morawa Visitor Information Centre continues to play an important role in welcoming visitors and showcasing everything our Shire has to offer.

The Visitor Centre is now open 7 days a week during July-September from 9am-2pm.
Please note our visitors centre is run by our dedicated local volunteers, opening days and hours may vary.
Mobile Phone Coverage
Before travelling to Morawa, we recommend checking your mobile phone coverage. Telstra is the only mobile network that provides reliable coverage throughout Morawa and much of the surrounding region. Visitors using other providers may experience limited or no mobile service during their stay.

As part of the ‘Wildflower Country’, Morawa showcases a beautiful array of wildflowers during the spring months, with everlastings and rare orchids found only a short walk from the town site.
In addition to wildflowers, the Shire is also home to an array of attractions, ranging from heritage architecture, historic Canna, natural wonders like Bilya Rock and Koolanooka Springs, clear night skies for stargazing, our historical museum and local walk trails.
