Morawa Art and Cultural Centre

Housed within the historic Old Roads Board Building, the Morawa Art and Cultural Centre is a vibrant community space celebrating creativity, culture and local heritage. Following an extensive internal refurbishment completed in 2024, the Centre has transformed a significant piece of Morawa's history into a contemporary venue for arts, cultural experiences and community connection.

Current Exhibitions

Thanks to the support of the North Midlands Project, the Morawa Art and Cultural Centre is currently exhibiting Mark Making by acclaimed artist Ron Bradfield Jnr.

This unique exhibition features a series of large-scale community canvases created with the involvement of people from Morawa and surrounding communities. Throughout the project, Ron invited participants to "leave their mark" on the canvases, symbolising that everyone leaves an imprint on the places where they live, work and visit.

The resulting artworks celebrate community, connection and shared identity, reflecting the idea that, ultimately, we are all part of one story.

The current exhibition is open Monday to Sunday, 9.00am to 2.00pm.

Please note that opening hours are subject to change and operate in conjunction with the Morawa Visitor Centre's opening hours. We recommend checking the Visitor Centre's current opening times before your visit.
