Morawa Youth Centre

The Morawa Youth Centre is a dedicated space for youth, aged between 8 years and 18 years, to relax and have fun in a safe and engaging environment. Two types of programs operate from this facility:  

  • The After School Program operates each week during the school term. 
  • The School Holiday Program operates for set days during each school holiday period.

Youth Centre Membership Forms

It's important that the Shire can contact parents or guardians if the need arises.  For most programs held within town, parent permission is covered through the memberships forms below that will be updated at the beginning of each calendar year.  Please send a completed membership form with you child when they first come to the youth centre. 

 

2026 April School Holiday Program

We have some great programs to entertain the kids during the April School Holidays!

All children participating the the Holiday program must have completed a Youth Centre Membership from by a parent or guardian.

Tuesday, 7 April 2026 From 10am Morawa CRC Easter Fun Day - CRC & Desert Blue Connect Join us for a fun-filled Easter session with basket making, an egg hunt and a sausage sizzle. Water bottle, hat.
Wednesday, 8 April 2026 12pm-2pm Morawa Skate Park, Gill Street Skateboard clinic - Infinity Skate A hands-on skate session for young people to build skills, confidence and have fun at the skate park. Closed in shoes and a water bottle. All helmets and skateboards will be provided
Thursday, 9 April 2026 2pm-4pm Morawa Youth Centre Youth Theatre workshop - Actors Hub Studios A creative workshop using theatre and role play to spark conversation, build confidence and explore everyday issues in a fun and supportive way.
Tuesday, 14 April 2026 1pm-3pm Morawa Rec Centre Basketball clinic - Basketball WA A high-energy basketball session focused on skills, drills and active fun for young people. Water bottle, enclosed shoes, comfortable clothes to play sports in.
Wednesday, 15 April 2026 10am-12pm Morawa Youth Centre Weaving Workshop - North Midlands Project A hands-on weaving workshop where participants can learn, create and connect through a creative cultural activity.
Thursday, 16 April 2026 5pm-7pm Morawa Town Hall Blue Light Disco & Karaoke - Bluelight/PCYC A fun social event with music, dancing and karaoke. Water bottle, best  dance moves and party outfit!
Friday, 17 April 2026 6pm onwards Morawa Swimming Pool Movie at the Morawa Swimming Pool Join us for a fun family movie at the Swimming Pool to wrap up the Pool season.  **Please note that no swimming will be permitted during the movie, popcorn will be available for purchase**
Saturday, 18 April 2026 3.30pm-6.30pm Morawa Sports Oval Community Connections Expo - Desert Blue Connect A free community event featuring food and drink stalls, entertainment, family activities, a bouncy castle, volunteer groups, mental health groups and the Festival of Colours. White clothing to participate in the Festival of Colours!
