This project represents a priority for the Shire, aimed at providing modern, bespoke facilities for early years education and comprehensive support services for local families.
Shire President Karen Chappel noted the importance of the State Government's support in bridging the gap for regional infrastructure.
"We are incredibly grateful for this $200,000 contribution," Cr Chappel said. "The Morawa Early Childhood Education and Family Centre is more than just a building; it is an investment in the long-term sustainability of our community. By providing high quality childcare and family resources, we are making Morawa an even more attractive place for families to live and work."
The RED Grant funding will assist the Shire ensure the facility meets the growing needs of the district and supports the attraction of essential workers to the Mid West.
The Shire of Morawa extends its thanks to the Hon. Stephen Dawson MLC, the Hon. Jackie Jarvis MLC, and the Mid West Development Commission for their commitment to regional economic growth and community well-being.
